SALES MINI FAQ
SHIPPING/DELIVERY
WE ARE BASED IN THE UK AND ALL ITEMS ARE POSTED FROM THE UK
All our products are shipped in sturdy packaging. The books are shipped in Amazon style cardboard fold
over packets which provide protection for the corners and cover. The photographic products are shipped
in board backed envelopes with additional cardboard on the inside to protect the front of the picture.
Orders are normally dispatched within 48 hours and should take no longer then 3 to 4 days to be
delivered in the UK, 7 to 10 days to European destinations and up to 30 days everywhere else depending
on the postal system (this varies a lot - for example to California typically takes 7 to 10 days while
to middle America can take much longer). Orders totalling more then £30 are always sent recorded
delivery and will require a signature. UK orders are sent 1st Class. Anywhere else is sent by standard
air mail unless the weight is over 2kg in which case a courier is used.

WHAT WILL APPEAR ON MY CARD STATEMENT?
SILVERCANVAS will appear on your statement. Packages also have a return address for silvercanvas on them
but are otherwise plainly wrapped.
PRIVACY
We do not keep customer records beyond the time taken to process the order. We do not sell or pass on customer
records to any third party. We do not add you to any mailing lists. Our mailing lists are maintained separately
to order information and are opt in only.
AUTHENTICITY
How do you know we are selling legitimate Dita signatures and prints? This is actually a big problem on eBay
with many thousands of illegal badly printed third rate products, many with false signatures being sold. To
prove we are a legitimate reseller of Dita's signatures and images we have a page on her website here:
http://www.dita.net/silvercanvas-ebay/. If you
think that may be a clever fraudulent hacking trick please copy the address down by hand noting it is Dita's
official site and type it into your browser by hand. It is impossible for that to be faked and you will get
confirmation about who we are.
HOW DO I KNOW THE AUTOGRAPHS ARE GENUINE?
In terms of the fact that we are authorised see the previous answer. In terms of how do you
know Dita signed them and not some member of staff or a stand in - well there is no way for anyone
to know that 100% apart from trust. The same issue applies to autographed photos purchased directly from
her site. However we can offer some reassurance. We know personally, that Dita is very conscientious about signing photos and would
never have a stand in do it. In addition we have stood over her and watched her signing items many times (some
of which are offered for sale above)
and we have come to know her signature well! You can also see an example of her official signature on her website
and compare with the signature on our prints above. Have a look
here for her guaranteed official
signature. If you do not trust us to give honest links you can find the same by going to her main shop page
("Sweetshop" from the top page of her official site) and looking for "Fake Autographs". We do however sympathize
with and support your need for authenticity and will do all we can to answer any questions. There are
many eBay items out there with fake signatures who will ask you to trust them with no explanations or back up evidence!
PHOTOGRAPHS
They are proper high quality professional real photographic
prints. None of the pictures offered above are ink-jet print
outs. All are printed on professional Fuji photographic
papers expected to have a lifetime of at least 100 years if
stored or displayed correctly. Obviously leaving or hanging
a print in a position where it gets direct bright sunlight
every day may reduce it's lifespan considerably. But stored
in a album or hung in a position where the sun does not
shine on it directly it is guaranteed (by Fuji) to last at
least a century. By comparison cheap high street photo
prints (or many of the ones you see on eBay) tend to last
around 10 years before starting to fade.
